The Chain Event, a collaborative effort by the Young Members Panel (YMP) India and the Lords Institute of Engineering and Technology Student Chapter, Hyderabad, recently hosted a successful event focused on Mechanical Engineering. This 6-day event, held from April 22nd to 28th, 2024, aimed to create a platform for faculty, research scholars, and industry professionals to exchange ideas, trends, and innovations within the field.

The program boasted a distinguished faculty, attracting a mix of over 180 participants. Renowned academicians like Prof. M. Chandra Sekhar Reddy of O.U, Hyderabad, and Dr. Shan M Assis of Musaliar College of Engineering and Technology, Kerala, Ashish Mittal, Director HR, FLAME University, Pune, shared their valuable insights. Industry veterans like Mahesh Shinde, formerly of Tata Motors, and Dr. Ashwin Kumar Godasu of Sunflag Iron & Steel Company Ltd, Mumbai and Dr Syrish Raghuyal, Corporate Head and Director at Positive Group provided practical perspectives on the latest engineering challenges and advancements. This diverse audience, with participants from over 160 external colleges, institutes, and the host college itself, ensured a rich exchange of ideas and experiences.
