Dr Mihaela Popescu is a Chartered Engineer in Frazer Nash Consultancy’s Offshore Technology Group and a highly experienced Computational Fluid Dynamics engineer. She is recognised for innovative engineering approaches and for delivering technical analyses to solve real-world complex problems.
Her expertise spans a wide range of applications in multiphysics modelling of fluid-driven systems, including thermal-hydraulic, renewable energy, and ecological modelling.
Mihaela has authored over 20 peer-reviewed journal articles and international conferences publications. Additionally, she is an international reviewer for NYSERDA, WindEurope, and the Torque Conference. She is passionate about inspiring students to pursue Engineering and to see how engineering innovation can shape a more sustainable future
