Is engineering really a man’s world? Kathleen Harrison discussed the choices she made during her education that led to her spending over a decade working on site, and the challenges of creating a diverse workforce in the construction industry. She will also introduce the Institution of Civil Engineers, her role within it and discuss how it promotes civil engineering around the world. Kathleen graduated from the University of Bradford with a BEng(Hons) in Civil and Structural Engineering in 2001.
