RAeS
Peter Bradbury
Royal Aeronautical Society Peter Bradbury Since the beginning of aviation, aeronautical engineering has been extremely harsh to those who get things wrong! This talk considers why aeronautical engineering is so unforgiving, and in that, so exciting! Graduating in Electronic Communications, Peter Bradbury went to spend several years at Marconi and Ferranti working on radar and digital processing integrated circuits before joining the RAF as an engineer. During this time he also became the holder of an Airline Transport Pilots Licence and a Senior Flight Examiner on behalf of the UK CAA. He joined academia as lecturer in avionics and aviation, now being a Senior Lecturer.
