Kamal is an engineering researcher for the TurboReflex group at Cranfield University where he recently concluded his Doctoral study, that focused on industrial gas turbine performance. He also holds an MSc in Thermal power (Aerospace propulsion) from the same university. Prior to his postgraduate study, Kamal experienced working in the power generation and automobile industry. He has a background in Mechanical engineering from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria.
Kamal enjoys active sports especially football and martial arts. He is also involved in engineering institutions and is a committee member of the IPowerE Young Engineers group. He has been involved with the IPowerE (previously IdgtE) since 2018.
